The average custom order is roughly 14 weeks from signed contract to final delivered product. Depending on the complexity of your design and production work, approval dates, Jasmin Michelle Designs will try to accommodate client preferred date of delivery. It is the client’s responsibility to check proofs carefully for accuracy in all respects, ranging from spelling and punctuation to technical illustrations. Jasmin Michelle Designs is not liable for errors or omissions. If errors are found after final approval is made, the cost of a reprint is the client’s responsibility. Your electronic consent/approval or that of your authorized representative is required prior to release for printing.
Payment and Estimates: Client agrees to pay a nonrefundable 50% retainer of the total project estimate before work will begin. Unless otherwise specified, all balances are payable upon final art approval and before printing. We reserve the right to refuse completion or delivery of work until past due balances are paid. Billing will reflect the actual costs incurred. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date on the estimate. Additional Costs: If our costs increase due to changes in the job specification, or other unforeseen reasons, we will amend the project estimate, and may require additional deposit to proceed with the job. Sales Tax: Sales tax applies to all orders within the state of California. The sales tax rate is 9.5%. State law requires that sales tax be charged on the full amount of all merchandise and services, excluding shipping costs. Quantity Adjustments: Client agrees to order the agreed quantity as described in the estimate. Client may increase the final number of ordered pieces but not decrease from the agreed upon contract. All quantity adjustments must be made in writing and final billing will reflect the actual costs incurred. Shipments: Insurance is required on all orders exceeding $100. Client agrees to shipment costs that include the necessary insurance or agrees to sign a shipment insurance waiver prior to shipment of design order. Revisions and Alterations: Concept revisions, extensive alterations, or a switch in design objectives may result in a delayed completion date. If you decide to cancel your order before we’ve fully fulfilled your order, we will retain your non-refundable 50% retainer. We will begin work upon client’s approval of the estimate and payment of the 50% retainer. Your approval (electronic, handwritten, or verbal) will constitute an agreement between us.
Shipments: If the design orders are to be shipped to client, final payment for any outstanding balance of the fee must be received by Jasmin Michelle Designs prior to shipping. Jasmin Michelle Designs shall not be responsible in any way for any packages left outside or with third parties other than client, and there will be no refunds for packages purportedly missing or stolen. Inspection by Client: Client shall be responsible for thoroughly inspecting all final design orders in their printed/assembled form upon pickup from Jasmin Michelle Designs or receipt of shipment, and must inform Jasmin Michelle Designs of any issues or concerns such as missing or damaged design order within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt in writing. Jasmin Michelle Designs shall not in any way be responsible for any issues discovered more than forty-eight (48) hours after receipt of the design order, whether or not the responsibility of Jasmin Michelle Designs or due to shipment.
Refunds and Cancellations: Due to the customized nature of our work, Jasmin Michelle Designs does not accept returns or offer refunds. Colors may vary from proof colors, due to monitor resolution variances. Please note that colors can also vary slightly between different press runs and paper stocks. Jasmin Michelle Designs strives to provide the highest quality stationery within its capabilities. It is to be understood by the client that each stationery piece is individually crafted, printed, and assembled by hand; so exact precision may not be achieved, and therefore there may be slight differences among the pieces. These are not product flaws. Such variations are inherent in the manufacturing of handmade products, so you may find minor distinctions that make your Jasmin Michelle Designs order special and truly one-of-a-kind. Each stationery piece is inspected for accuracy, completeness, neatness and overall uniformity.
Rights of Ownership: The rights to all designs and artwork remain with Jasmin Michelle Designs. If you wish to use the design we have created and/or the images within it for another purpose or project, you must contact us to arrange a transfer of rights and any additional fees before proceeding. We reserve the right to photograph and/or distribute or publish for our company’s promotional and marketing (including various social media outlets) needs any work we create for you. Jasmin Michelle Designs will use discretion regarding personal information on sample products and in photographs. Upon receipt of full payment, Jasmin Michelle Designs grants a limited use license to client to use the designs for personal use in connection with client's wedding or event.
